Button is proud to announce having once again been named as a “Best Place to Work” by Built In, marking another year of consecutive recognition dating back to 2019. Built In, the leading online community for startup and tech companies, evaluates organizations of all sizes and determines winners based on criteria inclusive of compensation, benefits, and workplace, in addition to other company perks.
Among the areas highlighted were Button’s best-in-class benefits package, featuring comprehensive healthcare coverage, 18 weeks of paid parental leave, unlimited PTO, and automatic company contributions to retirement savings accounts. Central to Button’s culture is a unique “RemotePlus” workplace strategy, which blends distributed work with intentional in-person collaboration, including a New York City “Hub” and “coworking weeks” held across the country.
“Our people have always been Button's greatest asset. The quality of the team is self perpetuating, great people want to work with great people, and the folks we’ve assembled and those that have graduated from our ranks make me more proud than any other accomplishment," said Michael Jaconi, Button’s CEO. “We're honored by Built In’s recognition, and I couldn’t be more proud of the team that makes it possible.”
“Being named a Best Place to Work is a recognition of the considerable investment we put into our company culture,” said Jonathan Kraft, Button’s Head of People. “We’re building something great, and having fun doing it, and as we continue to grow, we’ll only deepen our commitment to making Button the best place to work.”
Button was first recognized as a top workplace in its second year of existence, earning its inaugural award from Crain’s New York in 2015. The company has maintained this recognition every year since, receiving honors from publications including Inc., Entrepreneur, and Fortune.
